2023 Genesis G70 Trim Levels & Features

The Genesis G70 has been around for about six years. It received a complete refresh in the 2022 model year. For the 2023 model year, the G70 has only updates. The G70 is a luxury compact sedan with a 252-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder engine that comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission that is the standard option. There is an optional upgrade to a 365-horsepower, twin-turbo V-6. The Genesis no longer offers a manual transmission. However, you can get it in all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive.

Standard Features

There are several standard features you will have across both trim levels. It comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen that offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Satellite radio. The cabin has dual-zone climate control for the comfort of the driver and passengers. The G70 has a wide variety of safety features, including a blind spot warning system and rear cross-traffic alert. The front seats are heated, and the sedan has a hands-free power trunk lid.

Available Feature Upgrades

There are a good amount of feature upgrades available for the G70. For example, you can upgrade your camera to a surround-view parking camera. In addition, you will find a limited-slip differential. Additional technology upgrades include a head-up instrument display, wireless device charging, adaptive suspension, and a heated steering wheel.

G70 2.0T Trim

The G70 2.0T trim level starts at $39,150. While this is the base model, due to its excellent features, it doesn’t look like an entry-level trim level. It has a wide array of safety features, including forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. It also includes Junction Turning. This feature intervenes if it thinks there’s a concern when making a left turn that goes across oncoming traffic. Another safety feature is the highway driving assist, which helps keep the car centered in its lane. As long as the vehicle is between 0 and 95 miles per hour, it ensures the car maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.

Additional driver assistance features include lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert with rear emergency braking, lane-following assist, and a blind-spot monitor. In addition, it comes with standard navigation-based adaptive cruise control. It uses navigation maps to predict sharp curves and then slows the vehicle to a safe speed. The automatic high-beam headlights automatically dim or illuminate as needed.

Drivers will also find a driver attention monitor on the 2.0T trim. In addition, it includes a rear occupant alert. This feature reminds the driver to check the back seat before leaving the vehicle. In addition, it has a rearview camera. Another safety feature is a Safe Exit Warning. This feature warns the driver if a passenger is attempting to open their door into traffic coming from behind.

G70 3.3T Trim

The G70 3.3T trim upgrades to the 365-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 engine. It also has a sport-tuned suspension with adaptive dampers that continually monitor the road conditions and adjust as needed to control the comfort of the ride. It also has larger front and rear vented disc brakes and variable-ratio power steering. Included in the upgraded trim are leather upholstery, power-folding mirrors, and rain-sensing wipers. Two additional packages are offered on the 3.3T trim level.

The sport advanced package has 19-inch Sport alloy wheels, a variable exhaust valve system, sport aluminum trim, ventilated front seats, and a wide power sunroof. In addition, it offers wireless charging and a digital key. A digital key allows the driver access to the car with a smartphone app or a key card.

The sport prestige package has everything in the sport advanced package and some extras. It has an electronically controlled suspension, a limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, and a head-up display. The upholstery is upgraded to Nappa leather with luxury quilting. It also has a microfiber suede headliner and pillar trim, a 360-degree surround-view monitor, and a power-closing trunk.
