I've been leasing and purchasing luxury vehicles for over 20 years — Mercedes, Volvo, Audi, Lexus — so I've seen what good and bad dealership experiences look like. My last lease was a Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, and honestly, it left me questioning whether Mercedes still deserves the "luxury" label — both the car itself and the dealership experience were a real disappointment.

I brought my G70 in for a safety recall and an oil change and when I got it back the leather on the steering wheel unfortunately had a series of gouges. This was likely from someone's pocket knife clip scraping on the wheel. Mistakes happen. I asked how they could make this right and ultimately they sent a driver to deliver a loaner G80 to me and to pick up my car to be repaired.
